If i buy this car, is it worth it? Whats good and bad about it?
People will tell you it’s a suited up Prius, but that’s not true.
The Lexus HS250h, like all Lexus, has a smooth ride, quiet interior, and great technology.
Only you can decide whether or not it worth it.
You could look at the GS450h, you might be able to find a used one for the same price.

actually i have recently bought lexus ls 430 model 2003, the car is imported from USA,, i live in UAE, that’s why the navigation system is not working,, i should upload UAE maps,, does any body knows how can i upload maps that the navigaion system will work ? i want to avoid going to dealer cause i don’t want to pay more money …
thanx
The LS430 Nav. is DVD based and the system is in the trunk, under the floor. When you raise the rear floor, the unit is on the right hand side. You can’t miss it. You open the unit, remove the DVD that’s in there, and put in your new DVD. The system will auto read and run.
As for which DVD to get, I’m not positive but for 2003, I believe it was still generation 3. It did not go to generation 4 until 2004 model year. So, you’ll need to purchase online, perhaps through local Ebay, a Generation 3 DVD for UAE region. Here in U.S., any current (version 8.1) DVD will cost $300, while anything older runs in $99-150 range.
Good luck…

Is the XM satellite radio available on the Lexus LS 430?
yes, the LS430 did have Sat. capabilities. You need to have it set by dealer, along with frequency to purchase the service. It should work better than handheld units that you need to hook an external antenna to. I have an ‘04, no Sat. but it’s available.

I see some Lexus cars out on the road have those bright white license plate lamps. I wonder what model of car could that be and what is the part number of that license plate lamps. I want to wire that into my Chevy Impala.

Use LED license plate bulbs. You are better off buying 194/168 size LEDs from V-LEDS.com because the Lexus one’s will cost you a pretty penny.
Here is the link to V-LEDs and the bulb you should buy.
